In the season finale of Ballpark Nation, Jim and Alyssia head to the Bronx to visit historic Yankee Stadium, home of the legendary New York Yankees. Surrounded by one of baseball’s most passionate fanbases, they sit down with Yankee fan content creators Chris Vitali, Emily Nyman, and Mike Nelson to talk about the past, present, and future of being a Yankees fan. It’s a fitting finale celebrating the history, passion, and enduring culture of the game.
 
 

Jim and Alyssia travel to Toledo to experience one of Minor League Baseball’s most historic franchises, the Toledo Mud Hens. At Fifth Third Field, they sit down with Mud Hens VP and GM Erik Ibsen to talk about the team’s legacy and its place in the city’s baseball tradition. The episode also takes a trip to Atlanta, where Alyssia finally gets to visit the home of her beloved Atlanta Braves, marking a special stop on the Ballpark Nation journey.

Jim and Alyssia hit the road along America’s most famous highway to visit the Inland Empire 66ers at San Manuel Stadium. Along the way, they explore the rich history of Route 66 and its connection to the communities that baseball calls home. The episode features a visit with Steve Wendt, the longtime voice of the 66ers, and a stop with the St. Louis Cardinals, tying the spirit of the Mother Road to the game’s enduring legacy.

Jim and Alyssia head deep into West Texas to experience baseball on the high plains. The journey begins in Amarillo with the Amarillo Sod Poodles at Hodgetown, where they visit with team president Tony Ensor to talk about the club’s rapid rise and the passion of Panhandle baseball fans. The road trip continues to Abilene to meet the Abilene Flying Bison, where VP Cat Duguay shares the story behind the city’s growing baseball scene and its community connection.

Jim and Alyssia embrace their inner buccaneers in a special “Talk Like a Pirate” themed episode. The adventure begins in Erie with the Erie SeaWolves, where they visit UPMC Park and sit down with team president Greg Coleman to talk about the club and its place in the city’s baseball culture. The journey continues in Pittsburgh with a stop to see the Pittsburgh Pirates, tying the episode together with a fun, pirate-themed celebration of baseball from lakefront Erie to the Steel City.

Along the way, they explore the deep baseball history of the region, make a quick stop in San Diego to connect the Padres pipeline, and sit down with Chihuahuas General Manager Brad Taylor to talk about building one of Minor League Baseball’s most successful franchises.
